(Science popularization) Cairn and Granit teams from IRISA have participated to the “Science Days” in the city of Telecoms in Pleumeur-Boudou from October 9th to 11th of 2015. The topic that was exposed was “electronic chips of today and tomorrow”.
Fernando Cladera, Matthieu Gautier and Olivier Sentieys received the best paper award at the 2015 IEEE Computer Society Annual Symposium on VLSI (ISVLSI) for their paper “Energy-Aware Computing via Adaptive Precision under Performance Constraints in OFDM Wireless Receivers”.
Michele Magno has visited the Granit team during 2 weeks in june. He has performed two talks on wake-up radio and energy harvesting. He has worked with the phd student Faycal Ait Aoudia on the use of the wake-up radio that he has prototyped in ETH.
